Our systems are manufactured in a 4,000 m² production facility at our Schrobenhausen site - including state of the art work stations for welding, cutting, etching, grinding, and polishing. Low-particle facilities with laminar flow boxes are also available for clean room systems.

Our manufacturing is completely integrated into our warehouse logistics, production planning, and quality assurance systems.

To manufacture our systems, we purchase and handle exclusively stainless steels and plastics with the specified properties.


Factory acceptance test

Wherever possible systems are pre-fabricated and tested at the company's own facility. You can verify the design and features of your system at any time, e.g. in a factory acceptance test (FAT).



Systems are integrated by our own installation engineers. This ensures that the system is handed over to you as a turnkey installation, incorporating all elements from the design through to process commissioning.


Site acceptance test

After commissioning, every aspect of the system is tested by qualified personnel as part of the site acceptance test (SAT), before it is handed over to the customer.

ESAU & HUEBER uses stainless steel components specified by the customer or considered optimal for the corresponding application from a technical perspective. Designs are based on the most stringent hygienic standards (EHEDG) and comply with the latest official requirements.

To produce the steel automated welds, welding machines are available for pipes in diameters from 3.18 mm to 168.3 mm.

Weld quality is documented using standardized procedures and templates based on your specifications.

The quality of the welds produced is monitored by an in-house welding specialist. All welders are regularly tested by TÜV, the German Technical Inspection Authority.

The decision to use plastics as materials for a system can be made for various reasons:

  • Smooth and hygienic surfaces
  • Individual molding of troughs and tanks
  • Aggressive media can be handled safely, even at higher temperatures.

High purity plastic designs

High purity plastic designs, such as PP-HP, PVDF-HP, and PFA-HP, are primarily fitted in chemical storage and distribution systems with very strict media purity requirements. These include pure water systems for the pharmaceutical and semiconductor industry.

Materials for standard applications include:

  • Polyvinyl chloride (PVC-C and PVC-U)
  • Polyethylene (PE)
  • Polypropylene (PP-H)
  • Flame resistant polypropylene (PP-S)
  • Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)

Materials for high-purity applications include:

  • High-purity polypropylene (PP-HP)
  • High-purity polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF-HP)
  • High-purity polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE-HP)
  • High-purity perfluoroalkoxy alkane (PFA-HP)

  • Bonding
  • Hot-gas string-bead welding, hot-gas welding with torch separate from filler rod, and extrusion welding
