Fermentation and Lagering Cellar Technology
Fully Automatic Cellar Technology
With double-seat valves
Fully automatic cellar for maximum process safety and efficiency
ESAU & HUEBER plans and implements fully automatic cellars with double-seat valve systems for fermentation, lagering and pressure-tank cellars. Automation handles product transfers, CIP processes and valve control with minimal staffing requirements and maximum process safety.
All valve cellars are adapted to the production and hygiene requirements of the brewery and can be integrated into existing process control systems.
Your benefits with fully automatic cellar technology
- Reduced staffing requirements through complete automation
- Automated product and CIP transfers
- Double-seat valves for safe media separation
- High process reproducibility
- Scalable for breweries of all sizes
- Integration into process control systems
- Batch traceability possible
How fully automatic cellar technology works
In a fully automatic cellar, the process control system controls all product transfers, CIP cleaning procedures and valve switching operations. Double-seat valves safely separate product and cleaning circuits and prevent contamination.
All process steps are recorded and documented for quality assurance and traceability. The system can operate fully automatically in shift operation.
Typical applications
Fully automatic cellar technology is used for:
- fermentation and lagering cellars with high production frequency
- breweries with shift operation and limited staffing
- production cellars with strict hygiene and traceability requirements
- modernization of manual cellars.
